Summer cottage, sauna and bestfriends. Sausages, bread and beer. You can´t fail whit those. Eating and talking about boys, for hours.

The temporature was glose to zero, so we could stay outside around two hours, then it started to get too cold and we went inside. Making a fire into the fireplace was the first thing i did when we arrived to the cottage, so after a couple of hours the cottage was warm enough.

We had only 11 liters of water and another 2 for drinking. The ice was still quite thick, so we didint start to make a hole. We just cathered some snow and melted it at the Sauna, to have something to throw to the rocks. 11 liters was enoug from 3 people to wash themselves. Snow allso kept our drinks cold, Tervasnapsi, which is liquor made out of tar, is the best Sauna drink.

After 2 hours of Sauna, the sun started to set and around 8 p.m it was pitch black. We packed our packs in to the car and cleaned the cottage whit just one lamp. Only thing that we lost, was one sock. More damage was done when we started driving the car. Ther is a litle hill, before the bigger rode when leaving our cottage. Ofcourse that snowy little hill was too much to our little red car, we got stuck. And not just a little stuck, but s-t-u-c-k. It took 45 minits and big pile of braches from evergreen tree. Luckily I was the one driving the car and Johanna and Helena bushed, sometimes it good to be weak.

Finnish winter sport

Today was the day; my little brothers first time on ice with his bike, and I was there with him. Allso our common friend, Timo, who had made the race track, was there (so I didint need to stand out in the cold waiting).

Skating and skiing are overrated. I enjoy sports with engines.

In Scotland I didn’t drive a car once, and I did sit in one about ten times in total. Since I got back home I have been driving more per day, than I have been sleeping.

My car is my home, best friend and life.

Sometimes I sleepover at my friends in Hämeenlinna.
Sometimes I sleepover at my grandmothers place.
Then again, I drive.

I go to school and try to do my best.
Then again, I drive.

I dream a lot. All the time. Mostly when I’m driving. Luckily I have a friend whit me all the time. My sweet little horsey. She’s still without a name, that’s sad; I need to figure out a name. A perfect name.

This is allso something that makes me happy, in these desperate times:

3.1.

For week now I have been sneezing and coughing. My garbage box is filled whit sneezing papers, our cat flinches every time I cough and I can´t sleep.

Winter is here.

-16 °C 10:30 am

When it is butt cold outside, you start to respect small things. You feel like a hero when you finally go out, and everything you see there feels like a miracle.

When my little brother was a small boy, he was building a castle out of snow in our yard. It was late already and dark. My dad went outside and placed a spotlight to the corner of our house to point in to the castle my brother was building and when back inside. After I while my dad went to the window to look outside, but could see my brother. After I while he noticed a litlle steam clouds coming and going in the spotlight. My little brother had wound couple of boxes, placed them on top of each other and climbed on top of them. He was standing underneath the spotlight and blowing steam from his mouth in to the light. The steam was visible only when it hit the ligh. He kept on doing that for a while, and my dad was watching him.
